Martha Street Studio invites exhibition proposals by local, national, and international artists working in printmaking for our 2026/27 exhibition schedule.
Martha Street Studio is an artist-run printmaking centre that exhibits a wide range of print-based work, from traditional to contemporary, including work that pushes the limits of what is considered printmaking.
Located in Treaty 1 Territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Martha Street Studio encourages explorations of what printmaking can be, delighting in works that push the boundaries of print in unexpected directions. Martha Street Studio strives to showcase a wide range of perspectives and approaches, exhibiting a mix of both traditional and experimental printmaking in each year’s programming.
Martha encourages submissions by artists from underrepresented communities, and in particular from people who identify as gender diverse, Queer, 2-Spirit, Indigenous, Black, People of Colour, Persons with Disabilities, and Official Language Minorities.
