
Outreach Coordinator
Part time, permanent
21 hours a week
Compensation from $18.50 per hour based on experience

Martha Street Studio (Manitoba Printmakers Association Inc.), Manitoba’s only artist-run printmaking centre, is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in fulfilling Martha Street Studio’s mission to support and promote printmaking through dynamic educational programs and meaningful community outreach. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering all aspects of our education and outreach programming, as well as coordinating and supporting our valued volunteers.
The successful candidate will report to the Director and supervise contract instructors and volunteers. This is a collaborative role that requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of arts education and community engagement.
Qualifications:
● Experience in secondary education or arts administration
● Strong organizational skills and communication skills (written and verbal)
● Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound judgment
● Proficiency with standard office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
● Experience working with artists, youth, and diverse communities is an asset
● Familiarity with printmaking is an asset, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Programming
● Coordinate all aspects of adult education classes and workshops
● Communicate and collaborate with instructors regarding classes and student needs
● Develop and maintain regular evaluation of educational programs
● Maintain accurate and timely program information both onsite and online
● Assist in the development and delivery of new and ongoing education initiatives
Outreach Programming
● Coordinate all aspects of youth outreach programs
● Promote and organize printmaking workshops for schools and community organizations
● Maintain consistent program evaluation and reporting
● Support the creation and implementation of new outreach initiatives
Promotion and Communications
● Coordinate the production and distribution of studio brochures and newsletters (minimum 3 times annually)
● Contribute to and maintain a digital photo archive of programs and events
Volunteer Coordination
● Recruit, schedule, and support volunteers, including student placement participants
Additional Duties (as required)
● Assist with grant writing and reporting
● Provide customer service to studio users
● Support the printing and preparation of promotional materials such as brochures and holiday cards
